My Feelings About Virtual School

Attending class virtually has been a really weird experience, because we've always gone physically before the coronavirus. There are some good things about virtual school, such as not having to change into uniforms every day, and in this case, not having to wear a mask all day, but in my opinion, the negative things outwiegh the positive ones. Every class is taught differently, and it's difficult to ask questions and concentrate when your entire school day is just spent on your computer screen, instead of next to or around you like normal.

Computer Programming

Computer Programming/Technology class isn't one of the classes that changed a lot after moving from physical to virtual school, and the course is interesting in both ways. Our assignments are available online, just as they were before, so computer programming is one of my favorite online classes.

Science

Science class is a core class, and it's easier to learn in person, but the topic and the notes are really fun this year. I think science class is one of the ones I enjoy most out of my classes this year, whether it's online or offline.

P.E.

P.E. is one of the classes that I don't enjoy doing online, because without other people next to me when we're doing excercises, it feels really weird. I also really enjoyed playing sports such as soccer and basketball during school, so I think it's sad that we can't do that for the time being.

Algebra

Because algebra is really complicated, it's a lot easier to learn and ask questions in physical classes. For me, it's hard to concentrate with online meetings for algebra class.

Band

Although band has always been one of my favorite classes, whether it happens online or not, I think physical school was a lot more enjoyable, as we could play instruments with other people. Due to the coronavirus though, we're not able to play instruments anyways.. so because of this, I think virtual school is the better one, because we can still practice playing our instruments.
